Penny Black Saturday - January Challenge

 Good Morning!

Today we have a new challenge over at PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE. 
This month's challenge is 'Anything Goes with the Option of  'Something New'.

I haven't played along with the theme as the only new thing I've purchased recently are Christmas design papers and today's card certainly isn't Christmassy lol I've coloured this PB stamp in fresh spring yellows & greens and layered it onto a white on white background. The papers I've used are actually embossed with different designs but unfortunately this is really hard to tell in the photograph :(INGREDIENTS -

Creative Inspirations - January Challenge!

My Favourite 5 Christmas Cards from 2024

 Good Morning!
I have a yearly tradition where I share my favourite 5 Christmas cards that I've made that year on Christmas Eve however I'm a little late sharing them due to catching another bug over the last couple of days ... safe to say Christmas Day didn't exactly go as planned due to to spending the morning in bed. However I'm feeling up to sitting at my laptop briefly this morning so that I'd share them with you today, better late than never ...

The first two are using LOTV Digi Stamps, one from the latest release and the second is an older design in both traditional and non-traditional colour schemes.

My third card is a clean & simple card with a hint of colour provided from some Distress Ink. I always enjoy making C&S cards with the floral / foliage stamps by Penny Black.

This card is using my favourite colour scheme this year, brown and green. I was really happy with how the colours and papers matched the digi from The Paper Shelter that I'd coloured with a hint of gold for sparkle.

Last up is also the most recent card that I'd shared on my blog, using a pink colour scheme this gingerbread digi from Polkadoodles is a cutie and perfect for those girly Christmas cards.

 Good Morning!
It's only a few days until Christmas but I'm still ploughing ahead with the Christmas cards. It is my favourite card occasion to craft for and at least I'l have a few ready to go in next years stash (which I'm sure will come in handy as this time next year I'l have a child pottering about! It honestly doesn't feel real yet knowing that in a couple of months time I'l be having a little girl.) Today's card isn't for a DT, it's one that I simply made for fun yesterday morning.

 Good Morning!

Here's another card from me using an older design by LOTV which can still be purchased as both a Simply Print & Digi. I decided to make a layered card but not to add too many chunky layers from foam tape & embellishments as I wanted to see if it was still possible to make a layered card that could still be sent using a regular postage stamp ... it is.
