This week over at EAC we have the theme of SUMMERTIME!

This theme is great atm as the weather we are experiencing is definately summery ...

even though I do hate it lol Gives me awful headaches and I just cant stand the heat!

This theme gave me the perfect excuse to use my new My Minds Eye Papers and some of my new copics I had bought to add to my collection! I just love the shade of orange it is lol

PBSC Challenge - My Sketch!

Good Morning Everyone!

This week over at PBSC we have a sketch for you ... created by me! lol

I love how the Design Team have interpreted it so I cannot wait to see what you guys do!

Awards...

Good Evening!

WOJ Challenge - Sketch!

Good Afternoon!

I had a bit of spare time earlier on so I decided to make a card for this weeks

WOJ CHALLENGE which is a sketch!

I am having to type this post rather quickly as I have a job interview at a local petrol station in about half hour.

Not a fab job I admit but money is money and that means more craft stash!!

If I get the job of course! lol

I have used the masking technique on my card ....

(I bet your getting bored of me saying that now lol)

which I think really suits these stamps!

Just Magnolia - Summer!

Good Evening!

Well I've had a productive day, I have managed to make 2 cards, one for the

JUST MAGNOLIA challenge and another to add to my Christmas Card Box! lol

For the JUST MAGNOLIA Challenge the theme was - Summer.

I have masked a Tilda stamp from the Spring kit with the Fence and Dog stamp :)

Not only have I used the masking technique on this but I have also paper - pieced Tilda's top and socks!

I have decorated the inside with a PB Stamp which I bought last night and received today, I think it's really cute!

I have also combined this with the sketch from MOJO MONDAY.

Creative Inspirations - Anything BUT A Card!

Good Afternoon!

Well I have finally finished writing the post for this weeks challenge over at

CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS

so now it's time to write my post for it on my blog! lol

This week we have the challenge of creating Anything BUT A Card ...

This means you could create a bookmark / Hangar, Decorate a box or stationary, Customize a Candle ... Anything you would like!

We have the prize of being the Guest DT Member for July aswell!

For the challenge I decorated a spare plastic box with christmas papers and embellishments to create a tub to hold sweets in at christmas!

I apologise for the size of the photo, I have no idea why it is so small! lol

Everybody Art Challenge - Male!

Good Morning!

Well the sun is out shining again! I wish this weather would make it's mind up, one minute it's sunny and the next its grey and dark! tut tut. Not really sure what to do with myself today, every day seems to be the same for me atm which is getting a bit boring lol

Anyways i'l stop babbling on!

This week over at - EAC the challenge is a theme of Males!

Now seeing last Sunday was of course Fathers Day my card for then the challenge perfectly!

I hope everyone had a good Fathers Day, I was dragged out for a meal but I did have a really nice Rhubarb & Raspberry Crumble so I can't complain too much! lol

On my card I have also used the technique of Masking!

I have a tutorial in my sidebar where you can learn how to do this!

I masked the toolbox with the rabbit :)

I thought this Daisy & Dandelion Stamp Set by PaperMania would work perfectly for my Father as he is a Joiner! This comes in rather handy for me as you can see below :-

Sugar Bowl Challenge...

Hello!

Today was the 1 year anniversary of my Grandma's Anniversary, so to remember her I bought some flowers.

They didn't have her faves in but I knew she liked these that I chose and I have put them on my window ledge in my bedroom :)

After seeing what was on offer for this challenges prize over at the SUGAR BOWL I just had to enter it!

I used one of the stamps I have had for ages and shamefully this is the first time it has been used on a card ... bows head.

For some reason however the green outline on the grass has come out really strong on the photo ... hmm!

Early Closing of PB Candy....

Everybody Art Challenge - Numbers!

Good Morning!

This week at EAC we have a great challenge of you - create something using the theme of Numbers! 

It took me a while to actually think of something but in the end I remembered that I had some Basic Grey papers with numbers on them, so problem solved! lol

I won't be around this afternoon as I am going to meet a lady my father rang when I told him I want to look into Interior Design. She does it for a living so she told me to meet her for a coffee and a chat and that she'd also show me around some flats she's in the process of doing up, so fingers crossed it'l help me a lot!

Gold Fantasy...

Good Afternoon!

I just thought I would show you a card I have just made this afternoon. 

For a change it is not for a challenge blog it is just something I made while I had the urge! lol

It is yet another christmas but this time I have embossed the image using Gold Embossing Powder on black card, I think the contrast of the both looks great! 

I have also embossed this image in Silver and I am awaiting an order of the blue version of these flowers used here which I think will go great with the image.

The red paper used here does actually have gold lines and stars on it but you cannot see it on this photograph due to the lighting unfortunately :(

Sugar Bowl Sketch!

Good Morning!
Well last night while watching Big Brother ( I am very dissapointed by the housemates this year btw) I managed to make a card using the new sketch over at THE SUGAR BOWL.
I need to make my DT Card for PBSC Challenge that is tomorrow so Im going to try and get that done now as Im waiting for my PC Game 'The Sims 3' to be delivered.
I know for a fact I won't be able to tear myself away from it! lol

I used one of my older Sugar Nellies which I hardly ever use (very shameful I know!)
I really do love this stamp!
The Flower and leaf are infact christmas flowers but I thought they went really well with this card.
