Joanna Sheen - Lavender & Lace!

Thank you so much for all the comments on my Tag in the previous post, they are lovely :)

Today I have a card to share with you for the new challenge over at JOANNA SHEEN which is Lavender & Lace! For this challenge I was sent this gorgeous set of stamps to use ...

I decided to use the pretty Butterfly stamp in the set to create a Design Paper for my card!

To create the paper I first used my Distress Inks to form a coloured background and then used the Spritz & Flick Technique. I then misted the paper with a purple Perfect Pearls Mist I had previously made for a lesson in the Tim Holtz Course. I then stamped the Butterfly on varied angles in two shades of purple, along with white Distress stain in the top left corner.To finish I inked the edges of the Paper and Sentiment with a dark brown Distress Ink.
