I've also made my first Christmas card of the year as I couldn't wait to use this image a very kind friend sent me! lol

Wow it feels like it has been ages since I last created something for the challenge blog CHARISMA CARDZ that I am on the DT for lol This week we are celebrating Charisma's 3rd Birthday!!!! Creative Inspirations - Swirls & Pearls!

Good Morning!

I thought that I would share with you a piccie of some craft goodies I received yesterday! A few weeks ago I won a $25 Shopping Spree at Simon Says Stamp and after a fair bit of indecisiveness I finally put my order in last week and it arrived yesterday! Here is what I chose:

PBSC - Case It!

Something To Share!

Good Morning!

I hope all of you who are in the UK have kept safe during this windy weather! It seemed to have gone up a notch yesterday and I was just so glad my bedroom windows seemed secure lol However the rain sounding like Golf Balls did make me question that a few times lol

Today I don't have a card to share with you but I do have something! I thought I would share with you the lovely bundle of goodies that arrived for me yesterday from my Creative Inspirations Teamie Mona! Each year I organise a Secret Santa for my team but she couldn't join in with the last one due to going on holiday so I offered to do a New Year swap to make up for it! This is what I received :)

Charisma Cardz & GDT Cute Card Thursday!

This week over at CHARISMA CARDZ we have the challenge of NO CARDS! Usually this type of challenge fills me with dread but seeing it is the festive season it couldn't of come at a better time! You may remember a few weeks ago I made some Tilda Christmas Baubles in a Blue & White theme ... well now I have made one using a Red & Gold theme! This week we are lucky enough to be sponsored by Bunny Zoes!

I have also combined it with my second Guest DT project for this week's challenge over at CUTE CARD THURSDAY which is Anything Goes!

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes + An Option of Something Dangly!

Good Morning!

This week's Challenge over at PAPERTAKE WEEKLY is Anything Goes + An Option of Something Dangly! So a nice and simple Challenge for you all! Incaase your wondering I didn't add the option as there wasn't really anywhere to put it lol

On this card I have tried a technique that I have NEVER done before and is definitely not my usual style, which you will probably be able to tell and I bet you will think I need a bit more practise lol I had seen a few cards and projects around using Mist Sprays and after winning a collection of them earlier this year I still hadn't got around to trying them so I decided to last weekend! I have made my own Design Paper and the Image was stamped using the same mix of inks.

I thought I'd take a photo of the left over design paper so you could see it properly. I sprayed a selection of inks on a glass mat and then wiped a sheet of A4 Cardstock through it and dried with a Heat Gun. I then added some Glimmer Mist to give it some shone and stamped a Magnolia snowflake randomly across it and embossed using White & Silver Peal Embossing Folders.

My Christmas Decorations!

Good Afternoon!

I thought I would share some piccies with you today of the Christmas Decorations I put up back on Thursday. I have decorated my Bedroom / Craft Room and you'll be able to see the difference to what it normally looks like if you click the 'My Craft Space' page up above.

I've put up some of the Cards I have made this year that fit the colour scheme to decorate.

Here you may recognise the 2 baubles and wall hanger I made a few weeks ago. I like these so much that I am also making 2 more baubles but in 2 different colour schemes which you will see next week!

Lastly I thought Id get a bit arty and take a photo of the main tree's Christmas Baubles to use as a background on my Laptop & Mobile Phone :)

Of course I have also taken a piccie of the main Christmas Tree in the living room I decorated to share with you all :)

My first Challenge card is for today's Challenge of Number! Where they would like you to have a Number / Age on your card! I decided to make a 1st Birthday card.

To make the '1' I painted a chipboard letter with white then metallic paint, sprinkled it with glitter and then completed it by covering with 3D Gloss.

A Little Toot!

Good Morning!

Just popping by to share yet some more good news with you all!!! I seem to be having a lucky streak recently, I hope it doesn't run out anytime soon lol

Okay so my lucky news is that I found out last week ......... I cam 3rd in the Lili Of The Valley Category in the Cardmaking & Papercrafts Cardmaker of the Year 2011 !!!

They only show the 1st prize winners card in the magazine so I had to go on the website to find out which card had won 3rd place for me and it was ....

I receive £50 worth of their goodies so I cannot wait for my prize to arrive :D

Also my fellow PBSC Teamie Helen came 3rd in the Penny Black Category so a big Congratulations to her aswell!!!

Creative Inspirations - All Stitched Up!

Good Morning!

This post would have been on time but my internet connection seems to be playing up recently on my laptop, it will work on our main PC but half the time my laptop says it cannot detect it, grrr! lol

I've Been Published In Craft Stamper Magazine!

Good Afternoon!

I just thought I would pop by and share the news with you that I have been published in this month's issue of the Craft Stamp Magazine!

One of my cards has been featured in the 'Oh Christmas Tree' Gallery Section!

I have known about this for a few month's so I have been impatiently waiting for a while to see it hehe! You may recognise the card as one of my DT Projects over at PBSC a few months ago.

I apologise for the photo quality, I tried to scan the page but for some reason it is having a hissy fit today and won't work so I had to take a photo of it on my mobile!

My card is the one at the top.

Before I go I will let you all know now that there will only be 1 card to share tomorrow instead of 2. I have decided to step down from the EVERYBODY ART DT due to other DT Commitments. I felt that I just wasn't making my projects to their full potential and were often rather rushed. It was a tough decision to make and I was sad to leave as I have loved being on the DT and all the ladies are fabulous!

Anyways I best get on with my card for tomorrow's PTW Challenge, I've left it a bit late! lol

PBSC - Silver + Snowflakes / Snow!

Good Morning!

Seeing it is the first challenge of November over at PBSC we are kicking off something rather fun! All this month the challenges will be Christmas themed, perfect for you to get on with your Christmas Cards if you find your lacking the motivation for it!

So for the first week the Challenge is to use Silver + Snowflakes / Snow!

My favourite colour is Silver so I really enjoyed this week's theme :)

Seeing the Image is rather large I placed my sentiment on a Tag that pulls out. I have also used Polar White Flowersoft for the snow effect and used White Glitter on the white snowflake & 1 of the trees.

Thank you for the comments & e-mails on yesterday's Christmas baubles, I'm glad you all liked them! I shall be doing some in red & gold as well sometime soon so keep your eyes peeled for them ;)

This week at CHARISMA CARDZ we have the theme of Cutesy and this week the challenge has been extended to 2 weeks instead of just 1! I have decided to make a cute Christmas Hanger for my project.

Creative Inspirations - Lashing Of Sparkle!

Good Morning!

I have never had so much hassle trying to photograph something in my life than what I have to show you today! lol Either they wouldn't stand up properly, the light reflected too much off them or the colour and focus wasn't right lol I'm still not happy with these photographs and trust me they look a lot better in real life but I have tried my best! lol

Today at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS we have the theme of Lashings Of Sparkle due to it being Bonfire Night this weekend. I have made something I have never tried before ..... Christmas Tree Baubles!!!

One of them has a smaller image in it and the other fits the whole width ... let me know which you think looks best :)

Before placing the images in the baubles I spread glue around the bottom half and added white Glitter then left to set. The bauble using the MINI Angel Tilda has flowersoft in the base and the other has glitter in the base.

If you are wondering where my project for today's EVERYBODY ART challenge is then I am afraid I do not have one, I simply didn't have time to make it but I do hope you will still join in! The new Challenge is to make a Book Card!

However I do have a card to share with you for today's PAPERTAKE WEEKLY Challenge which is Anything Goes + Option of Sparkle & Bling!. However yet again I have a problem with this card...

Don't you just hate it when you manage to finish your card just for it to mess up right at the end? I put 3D Gloss on my coloured image as I usually do but for some reason whilst it was drying the red ink decided to bleed from tilda's collar! Trust me I am not happy :(

Charisma Cardz - Embossing!

Good Morning!

Finally I have a card to share with you that I am happy with, yey! lol I am still ill but I finally started to get my motivation for card-making back the other day which I hope you can see from this card :)

This week at CHARISMA CARDZ we want to see some Embossing on your creations! I have embossed some of the cardsotck used and clear embossed Tilda. Also for extra sparkle I have added white glitter to 1 of the die cut trees and beneath tilda, then some twinklets on the snowflake beneath the tag.

Creative Inspirations - Friendship!

Good Morning!

Well as I mentioned yesterday my Magnolia Fall Kit arrived and I couldn't wait to have a play! The hard part was choosing which stamp to play with first lol In the end I decided on using Edwin as I think he looks such a cutie here.

This week's challenge over at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS is the theme of Friendship! I think the sentiment on my card worked really well as I can send this card to a friend who lives abroad :)
