J&C Creations - Home Decor!

Good Morning!

I hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday, I almost didn't have anything to share with you today as I keep thinking we are a day behind! lol Before I start can I say thank you to those of you that manage to leave a comment on my posts each day, they really are lovely to read and I really do appreciate them. I haven't been able to repay the favour as much as I would like to what with being busy at work and in my greenhouse but I shall hopefully be back on track soon, along with some photo's of the plants in question if anyone is interested!

It's the start of a brand new theme this week of Home Decor at the J&C CREATIONS BLOG! We wanted to share something this week that would give those of you who wanted to try something a little different to card / tag making some ideas. To kick start this off I have come up with a way of using a blank Plant Pot to create a handy scissor and pen pot! You can find a step by step guide on how I made this over on the main blog HERE.

J&C Creations - Metal Magic!

Good Morning!

I'm back today with my 2nd project for our theme this week of Metal Magic at the J&C CREATIONS BLOG! Today I have a card to share with you where I have designed to the Design Paper myself using Stamps and Inks. So without further ado, let's begin!

To start of I have trimmed some Manilla Cardstock to fit onto a 6x6 card blank. I then stamped a cogs background stamp onto two seperate corners using an Emboss Ink pad and Clear Embossing Powder, then heat set. Once cooled I swiped some Distress Stains over the whole piece and blended the edges with Distress Ink Pads.

To add some more interest to the paper I stamped a Floral Stamp in Metallic Distress Paint and once again heat set.

I have made a sentiment the main focal point of this card and to do this I simply stamped my sentiment in Distress Ink and blended once again around the edges. Once happy I mounted both pieces onto some Silver Card. As usual I have embellished the card with a few of my favourite products and here is the result!

PBSC - Anything Goes!

Good Morning!

Seeing as we are now in the month of May (I honestly don't know where this month has gone!) it is time for a new challenge over at PBSC and this time we have the super easy theme of Anything Goes!

I have used one of the older Penny Black Stamps but I still think she is a cutie! To be honest I think I prefer a lot of the older stamps to the newer ones these days with a few rubber stamp brands these days.

For those of you that are interested how yesterday's Fundraiser went, I'm afraid not too well! Not many people turned up on the day and I only managed to sell 1 card and some old craft magazines but hey ho it was worth a try!

Fundraiser!

Good Morning!
I have something a little different to share with you today, some news about a Fundraiser that I am taking part in ... today! It is only a little Craft & Cake Fundraiser in the town that I live in but I wanted to share the poster with you anyway in-case any of you live close enough to come. The Fundraiser is for MS and I shall be there with some of my cards to sell this afternoon ...
