Tim Holtz Corner & Tags!

Good Morning!
I thought I would share with you some piccies of my new crafty goodies I ordered last week that have arrived along with some tags that I made with them over the weekend! As you know I have become hooked with Tim Holtz so I had to make space in my craft room for him .... here is the Tim Holtz Corner! haha!

Of course I need to get some more stamps and inks so I shall have to find some more space for them ;)

Okay so onto the Tags that I have made!
I have used the same stamp set on both (as it's the only one I have ... so far! lol) Papillon.

First up is a tag using the new limited edition spring ink pads as I just couldn't wait to have a play with the gorgeous colour combo! I finished off the tag with cheesecloth & Dew Drops.

Secondly is my interpretation of TIM HOLTZ 12 TAGS OF 2012 ... MAY!!!
Here is what Tim made ...

Now here is my take on it .... !!!

I didn't have any sewing pattern tissue paper so I had to use some brown paper I had stashed away! Along with alternative stamps as you can see lol Instead of using UTEE on my flowers I used Glossy Accents.
I added some Liquid Pearls to the centre flower of my metal embellishment then some twine & Dew Drops to complete my tag.

Thanks for popping by, let me know what you think of giving this new crafting style a go :)
HAPPY CRAFTING!

Great idea to use the Glossy Accents instead of the UTEE! I love how the flowers came out. Really beautiful tag!

Your tags are great! I love the you have a Tim space! I need to do just that when I set up my new room. I think it will be easier to have everything in its own "spot". I love the way you did the flowers too. I would wage that eventually you will have all the ink colors...They are so great (yes, I have them...I love them....My kid sis found a bunch of unused ones at a yardsale for $1 each, so she bough them all for me...She didn't realize I rein..But now I have them should others come stamp!!

Great take on the tag. One of the interesting things about seeing all the playalongs with Tim Tags is seeing how the creator chooses elements of the tag to recreate their own. I can see how you followed Tims process and yet came up with something different. Cool.
