Crafty Re-shuffle !

 Good Morning!
I have been unhappy with the way my Craft Room looks for a while now so earlier in the week during my day off I decided to try and have a shuffle around. However I am still not happy with it and one of the things I've decided that definitely needs changing are the curtains ....
But hey I thought I'd let you all have a peek around, maybe you can figure out what it is about it that I can't put my finger on! lol

As soon as you walk through the door you are now greeted by my desk! Originally it was in a corner. The board above it was covered with all the Tags that I had previously made, however now I have just left some of my favourite's around it. I need to make my mind up about what to put in the middle, I was going to go for favourite cards but now I'm not so keen on the idea.
To the left are my flowers, embellishments and ribbons along with my Tim Holtz inky stash. The baskets are currently holding the various cards that I have made.
To the right is the sticking point. The eye-sore in the left corner is the partners weight bench that unfortunately can't live elsewhere in the house :( This is where the desk used to be with the framed cut outs of published work above it. The blank wall needs dealing with too ...
Then turning back on yourself as if your going back out the door is my stamp collection! At the top you can see my Tim Holtz stamps and various brands of wooden stamps. The next two shelves are full of Penny Blacks, then it's a shelf of un-mounted stamps followed by pre-stamped images and finally my paper stash!
Thanks for stopping by,
HAPPY CRAFTING!

What a wonderful craftroom Natalie.
I sitting now in the attic, which is now converted into a bedroom for my daughter, but that's okay.

Hugs, Bianca.

Looks good Natalie, though wondering why you haven't hung the blue picture behind the distress inks as that goes well with your lamp. Maybe you could use the board above the desk as a inspiration board, have fun crafting x

Great space Natalie and very tidy. I was thinking the same about the blue flower picture. I prefer my desk under the window to catch the natural light when I'm colouring, but like you every now and then I have a wee switch round to see if things work better in another areas.

I love to see other people's craft space, especially neat and tidy ones. Looks great. My walls are full of shelves and cupboards. I would have shelves above the desk so lots more stuff is to hand. Check out my craftroom, I have a page on my blog. I have a voile blind and a pretty purple blind at my window, which is great as they can be pulled part way to keep out the sun.

Lovely to see your craft space Natalie. The blue of your lamp and picture are beautiful; if you're changing your curtains, I'd try to find some to tie in with that blue. Have to say that I also prefer my desk under the window to catch as much natural light as possible xx

This looks wonderful and so beautifully organised! The only thing I would have a problem with in that lovely room is the size of the desk...I do like to spread stuff all around me when I'm working - lol! Everything else looks great to me :-)
I am hoping to have a bit of a re-vamp in my craft room in the next few months so hope to share some pics as well.

Big hugs, Kat xx
