PBSC - Bunting!

Good Morning!

I actually thought I had pre-wrote and scheduled this post but it appears I was wrong! Good job I checked my blog lol The weather is grey & rainy here today so if you have the same weather as me what a perfect way to pass the time by doing today's Challenge!

This week at PBSC we have a theme of Bunting! I managed to do this rather easily as I found some Design Paper that had a bunting design on it so all I had to do was cut some of it out lol

A Decorated Tilda Plant Pot!

Good Morning!

*** WARNING! A RATHER LONG POST! LOL ***

I have something to show you today that is completely different to my usual style!

I was at a bit of a loss of what to do yesterday and came across some bare mini Plant Pots I had bought a while back, well I decided it was about time I decorated one of them! It hasn't turned out as well as I have hoped but I still think its rather cute, I don't think the piccies do it justice though lol the Plant Pot is just the right size to store pens etc...

There are a lot of photo's but I thought I would show you it at each stage :)

JUST MAGNOLIA & HANGLAR - PURPLE, PINK & PEARLS

(I have used some Pink Dew Drops on the Purple Part)

To start off with I painted the whole pot white with Gesso Paint.

I then painted the bottom 2/3 a metallic light purple so the pot would shimmer, I then went over the white with a metallic white to get the same result.

I started to decorate by adding an assortment of Dew Drops & Lace + Ribbon around the base.

I added my first Magnolia Stamp to the side using 3D foam Squares.

I then added my 1st Magnila Tilda.

Then I added my last Magnolia Image, a second Tilda.

I then added a Flower between the 2 Tildas and decorated between the gaps of all 3 Images using Dew Drops & Adhesive Pearls, here is a little shot so you can see that I placed them randomly.

To finish off here is the finished pot next to what it looked like at the start! lol

Red, White & Blue Tilda + New Colouring Technique!

Good Morning!

I saw a new colouring technique in a magazine a few days ago and thought I would give it a shot! What you do is colour in your Stamped Images by using dots! I thought this would take rather a long to do but I was actually surprised that it didn't take me too long!

The technique is called 'Pointillism'.

I might try this again in the future, feel free to let me know what you think of this card using it.

Before I go here is a piccie of Millie & Hollie I took yesterday, Millie had just had her fur cut so she looks rather bare compared to usual lol and you can see how much Hollie has grown since the last piccie, she's in trouble atm as she chewed half a leather sofa seat the other day ... tut tut.

Giveaway!

Good Afternoon!

I am just popping by as I have been having a clear up in my craft room and I have come across some stuff that I will never use.

Creative Inspirations - No Flowers Allowed!

Shockingly today I have a card for you that isn't using a Tilda Image! lol I went for a simpler card today. This week's Challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS is No Flowers Allowed anywhere on your creations. At first you might think this is a bit tricky but I found it as another chance to make a Christmas Card :)
