Birthday Wishes with an Old Favourite!

Good Morning!

Today I'd like to share a card with you that I made earlier in the week, simply because I could. As I'm easing myself back into card making slowly I'm simply making cards as and when I feel like it and if anything from my stash catches my eye. Well whilst organising my craft room the other week the following image was sitting on the top of a pile in one my stamped image boxes and I'd been wanting to make a card with it ever since.

I paired it with some Autumnal coloured paper from my stash that also caught my eye.

Squirrel Birthday Wishes!

As promised I'm back with another card to share with you all, when I was putting the craft room back together I came across a tub of Toppers and found this sweet image inside. Considering Autumn is just around the corner I thought now was the perfect time to make something with it.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes + Optional Sketch!

Good Morning!

Well as I promised yesterday I'm back with my first card of the year, I hope you all like it!

It's the first Saturday of the month which means it's time for a new monthly challenge over at PBSC! This month the challenge is 'Anything Goes + Option of a Sketch!'

I've eased myself back into card-making with a Clean & Simple style card, of course it had to have a Christmas theme too for my first card back!

I'm Back!

Good Morning!

Well it's certainly been a long time since I posted on here. A lot has happened in my personal life over the past year or so which has meant my card - making has taken a back foot. In fact up until last week all my craft stuff was put away into storage. However things are slowly starting to look up and last week I decided to dig all my stuff back out in the hope of finding the urge to craft again if I put everything in arms reach.

Well after spending about a day re-organising where things needed to go I finally managed to get there! When lifting everything out I enjoyed looking through my stamp and paper collection, especially coming across stamps and papers that I got when I first started card-making around 10 years ago and feeling the urge to make something with them! 

Fingers crossed this means I will be back in the world of card-making properly from now on, time allowing! I do however have a card to share with you all tomorrow which coincidentally fits in with the new challenge that will be starting over at PBSC tomorrow morning .... see you then!

A Clean & Simple Christmas Card!

Good Morning!

Well as I mentioned a few days ago it's certainly been a while since I sat down and made a card. Well yesterday I motivated myself to create a few Clean & Simple ones for family members and today I'd like to share one with you all. I made 8 in total and they each varied with different coloured sparkly embellishments. Today's card is showing one using the traditional colours of Red, Green and Gold and the main stamped image is one of my go to favourite stamps by Penny Black for quick cards.

Hello Again & Design Team Call!

Hello There!

It's been a good few months since I last made a card as you will all know. Long story short I have had a lot going on in my personal life so crafting took a back seat along with my mojo. However things are slowly starting to get better so fingers crossed I shall be back crafting soon :)

On a lighter note I wanted to let you all know that the challenge blog I run called Creative Inspirations is holding a Design Team Call! After changing the blog to monthly challenges a few weeks ago I thought another positive change would to add some newbies to the DT!
