A Decorated Tilda Plant Pot!

Good Morning!
*** WARNING! A RATHER LONG POST! LOL ***
I have something to show you today that is completely different to my usual style!
I was at a bit of a loss of what to do yesterday and came across some bare mini Plant Pots I had bought a while back, well I decided it was about time I decorated one of them! It hasn't turned out as well as I have hoped but I still think its rather cute, I don't think the piccies do it justice though lol the Plant Pot is just the right size to store pens etc...

There are a lot of photo's but I thought I would show you it at each stage :)

The Challenges this fits into:
MAGNOLIA DOWN UNDER - CREATE A SCENE
CUPCAKE CRAFT - SOMETHING IN YOUR HOME FOR INSPIRATION
SIMON SAYS STAMP - ANYTHING GOES
JUST MAGNOLIA & HANGLAR - PURPLE, PINK & PEARLS
(I have used some Pink Dew Drops on the Purple Part)

To start off with I painted the whole pot white with Gesso Paint.

I then painted the bottom 2/3 a metallic light purple so the pot would shimmer, I then went over the white with a metallic white to get the same result.

I started to decorate by adding an assortment of Dew Drops & Lace + Ribbon around the base.

I added my first Magnolia Stamp to the side using 3D foam Squares.

I then added my 1st Magnila Tilda.

Then I added my last Magnolia Image, a second Tilda.

I then added a Flower between the 2 Tildas and decorated between the gaps of all 3 Images using Dew Drops & Adhesive Pearls, here is a little shot so you can see that I placed them randomly.

To finish off here is the finished pot next to what it looked like at the start! lol

RECIPE:
Plant Pot
Gesso & Metallic Acrylic Paints
Magnolia Stamps
Magnolia Turquoise Tulle Flower
Twinklets, Dew Drops, Adhesive Pearls, Lace & Ribbon from Stash

Don't forget to pop by for tomorrow's PBSC Challenge!
Happy Crafting!

Awesome job Natalie! I really like the way this turned out and how adorable it will be sitting on your desk holding some crafting essentials (like scissors etc.) The dew drops and lace are the perfect embellies for this pretty little pot. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Barb
