Tissue Wrap Collage Tag & Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101!

Good Morning!
I am definitely stuck in a Tag making frenzy these days and I have 2 more to share with you all today! The first one is for a wonderful challenge blog that I stumbled across last week! Now you do need the Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2 book by Tim Holtz to play along but do you really need any excuses to buy the book? lol
I had never tried this technique before and I have to admit that I probably wouldn't of done any time soon if it hadn't of been the challenge this week. In the end however I loved it!

I'd like to enter this into the challenges at:
STUDIO L3 - TECHNIQUE 6 - TISSUE WRAP COLLAGE
THE RIBBON GIRL - VINTAGE PINK & CREAM
PAPER SUNDAES - PRETTY IN PINK

I followed the technique as shown in the book and used the Snowcap Paint Dabber once the tissue had dried. I then completed the background by inking using a variety of colours and adding stickles to the butterfly. I inked some white cheesecloth with distress stain to fit the colour scheme and embellished with some flowers & adhesive pearls.

INKS USED:
Distress Ink - Antique Linen, Spun Sugar, Worn Liptick & Iced Sprcue
Distress Stain - Worn Lipstick

INGREDIENTS -
PB 'Letter' Stamp & Tim Holtz 'Visual Artistry' Stamp Set
Tim Holtz 'Butterflies' Movers & Shapers Die
Tissue Paper
Paint Dabber
Flowers from WOC
Adhesive Pearls & Cheesecloth from stash
Stickles - Frosted Lace

Also I have managed to complete another tag from the Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 Online class, now if your wondering why they are taking me so long it is because I am having to buy products as I go along! haha I haven't been able to do Day 4's yet as that includes Alcohol Inks but I am lookngi forward to giving it a go! Today I have a tag from Day 8 where you create a tag using Crackle Paint which is called Shattered Stains...

I'd like to enter this into the challenge at:
WILD ORCHID CRAFTS - ANYTHING GOES

INKS USED:
Distress Ink - Worn Lipstick, Vintage Photo & Walnut Stain
Distress Stain - Broken China, Worn Lipstick & Wild Honey

Thanks for popping by!
HAPPY CRAFTING!
