Good Morning!
Fingers crossed by the time your reading this I should be enjoying the last few days of my Cruise, hopefully I shall also have a tan by this time! lol
This week at PBSC our theme is Penny Black-Ground, for this we want to see you make a Background from your Penny Black Stamps. I don't usually do this style myself so it was a nice change and I have to admit I'l definitely be doing it again as I love the results. It's just a pity the photograph doesn't really show the different layers very well.

ALLSORTS - FREE 'N' EASY

RECIPE:

PBSC - Starburst!

Good Morning!
This week at PBSC our theme is Starburst! I was a little stuck for this as I don't use stars on my work that often so I had to ponder over this theme for a while lol In the end I remembered that I had a stamp unused that would fit the Challenge. I used a technique of Heat Embossing on this card and decided to create my on Design Paper!
Unfortunately it was such a pain to photograph so it doesn't quite catch it all properly! I used 3 different Embossing powders - Gold, Silver Pearl & Clear along with a Black Inkpad.
Here is a piccie of the Design Paper before I cut it up for the card:

I think this would make a great paper for a contemporary male christmas card.

This card fits the Challenges at:
PAPER SUNDAES - CHRISTMAS IN JULY
CUPCAKE CRAFT - WISH UPON A STAR
CUTE CARD THURSDAY - FOR HIS EYES ONLY
STAMP SOMETHING - EMBELLISH IT
(You may of noticed that Dew Drops are one of my all-time fave embellishments!)

If you double-click the photo you should be able to see the lighter stamped layers better.

RECIPE:
PB Stamps
Embossing Powders by Heat It Up
Dew Drops & Ribbon from Stash

Thanks for Popping by & I hope you can play along!

Tilda & Edwin Sweetie Jar!

Good Morning!
Before I start I'd just like to say that I have some ***NEW*** MAGNOLIA STAMPS FOR SALE which you can find HERE.

I have something a little different to share with you today! I was clearing through some old dried herbs & spices the other days and I thought it would be a shame to throw away the glass jars they came in, so I washed & scrubbed them!
I thought that one of the uses of these jars could be as a sweetie gift, so I decided to give decorating one of the jars a go! The sweets I used were chocolate limes so I this gave me my colour scheme. I have to admit that this jar now lives on the shelf with some of my favourite cards that I've made :)

This creation fits the Challenges at:
PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - GETTING CUTE
MAGNOLIA DOWN UNDER - CREATE A SCENE

Copic Ciao Markers - C1, E00, E21, E31, E33, R11, R20, YG63 & YG67.

Creative Inspirations - Around The World!

Good Morning!
I'd just like to quickly say thank you for all the comments I have received recently, they really do make me smile when I read them :)
This week at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS it is the turn of one of my Design Team to choose the theme! This month's Teamie is CAROLINE and she has chosen theme of 'Around The World!'. If your a bit stuck you could think of images suited to certain countries (Japanese, Cowboy, Indian etc...). Or you could think out of the box and go for a sentiment which includes the phrase or destinations. Hope I haven't complicated it any more by attempting some examples! lol Also Caroline got to choose a guest DT for this week's Challenge so I do hope you will go check out what they came up with!

***PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CHALLENGE ENDS AT 9pm MONDAY EVENING INSTEAD OF 9pm TUESDAY EVENING***

This card fits the Challenges at:

A Little Peek!

Good Morning!
I thought that today I would show you some piccies of my craft space seeing I gave it a little re-arrange recently. However I'd firstly like to mention that I managed to win at a the Challenge Blog CHARISMA CARDZ this week !!! Woo hoo I was so happy when I saw this :)

Okay onto my craft space let's start with my desk. On the top shelf I have drawers for the embellishments I only use ocassionaly along with my card scraps. The files are an inventory of my own stamps, a magnolia inventory and magnolia magazines.
The second shelf is for my Prima Flowers and ribbons.
The third shelf is for my white card, Ink pads and an assortment of stamps. I also have my crystal stems & flowers from wild orchid crafts on this shelf.
Next is my desk along with my copics, paper trimmer, glass cutting mat, cuttlebug, adhesives, pen pot & embellishments. Lastly on the bottom shelf are my padded envelopes and my printer.

Here on the top shelf are my everyday 12x12 papers, cardstock, DP I don't use too often in the tub and some stamps in the cardboard box on top of it.
Below are my Flowers I also don't use too much and my Basic Grey paper pads.

This is a wooden unit my dad built for me to house my PB Stamps (wooden & transparent), Sugar Nellies, Hanglar & LOTV Stamps and on top are 6 boxes full of my Magnolia Tilda Stamps ... I am definitely a little obsessed with them lol On the bottom shelf is where I keep the cards that I have made.

On this top shelf are all my Christmas 12x12 Papers & Embellishments along with Christmas stamped images. The second shelf is for the paints & sprays I won in a contest with an Easel Calendar I made. Lastly the shelf below is for my punches.

To finish off my peek here are the 2 shelves that are above my bed, the top is for some glass ornaments and the second is for my favourite cards at the moment that I have made and a picture frame of a group of Tilda's.

Hope you enjoyed having a look around!
Don't forget to pop by at 6pm tonight to see who won my giveaway !!!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Happy Crafting!
