The Wonder of the Season ...

Good Morning!

I hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend here in the UK! 

I don't usually get to do so myself due to working in retail but today is actually the start of my fortnight off from work ... woohoo! It's been a long time coming I can tell you! 

My plan of action for my time off is to spend time in both the craft room and garden as they've both been unfortunately neglected over the past few months due to work or feeling unwell. 

Fingers crossed this goes to plan and I have more than one thing per week to share with you all!

Well this morning I did manage to have an hour in the craft room playing with one of my new stamps. Today's card isn't my usual style but it was a good opportunity to dig out those Distress inks! I hope you all like it. I think it's versatile enough to be used as an all year round card and not just for winter.

You may notice that the card was still a little bit warped from the water droplets when I took the photograph lol

Wild Rose Studio Snowman Family !

Good Morning!

It's been longer than intended that I've had something to share with you all.
I suffer from migraines and unfortunately had the first two in the 4 months in consecutive days so my eyesight hasn't been good enough to sit and craft. However yesterday morning I did manage an hour or so in the Craft Room and finally got to play with my new Wild Rose Studio Christmas stamps!

The one I have used on today's card is called 'Snowman Family' and I got it from the online shop I design for called My Mum's Craft Shop.

My Mum's Craft Shop - Chive Chewing !

 Good Morning!

I'm back with another House Mouse creation for this fortnights DT card for

MY MUM'S CRAFT SHOP. 

This time however I have created a Clean & Simple card and only added a teeny splash of colour ...

The card blank is a small 4x4 size which is perfect for those quick cards you need in a hurry!

The splash of colour was created by using the MFT 'Distressed Patterns' stamp set onto which I stamped the House Mouse design. The sentiments are from a separate set by Hero Arts and the card was finished off with some Doodlebug Sprinkles.

I did in fact make a second version using a paler ink which is one of my favourite's but a pain to get it to show on a photograph so trust me ... the second card looks much better in real life!

It's time for a new monthly challenge over at PBSC and this month the theme is

I have decided to use the one technique that I pretty much use on every card that I make ... Stamping!

 I kept the card Clean & Simple as I felt that suited the stamp best and added a blend of Distress Inks in the background ... overall the card reminds me of a crisp Winter's morning.
