Creative Inspirations - Easel Cards!

Good Morning!

This week at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS we want to see you make Easel Cards!

These are really popular at the moment so I thought it would be a good idea to have this as a challenge.

The one thing I love about these type of cards is that they are large enough to make a scene via masking and not crowd the layout as they can take up rather a lot of space!

As most of you know these are a pain to photograph so I have taken 2 pictures from different angles.

Everybody Art - Song Title!

Thank you all for the lovely comments on my Easel Card I posted over the weekend, I really enjoyed reading each and every one of them!

This week at EVERYBODY ART we want to see you interpret a song title into your work.
I found this quite tricky at first but after debating which stamp to use I thought a line from a well-known nursery rhyme would fit it perfectly!

As soon as I saw this Tilda I knew she would go great with the Spring Fence that I had.

She's such a cutie!

I received some more of the Tilda's I had ordered today so I know I am going to have a Tilda filled weekend! hehe

Creative Inspirations - Sketch!

Good Morning!

Yep it is another sketch this week for another Challenge blog :) However this one I designed!

I designed this sketch with a twist this week at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS as you can interpret the lower part of the sketch in two different ways.

I actually made a wallet card using this sketch a week ago using (shamefully) a stamp from

LAST YEARS Spring Magnolia Kit in the background for the first ever time, oopsy!

I hadn't made a Wallet Card for a while so I rather enjoyed doing this one.

Well I am STILL waiting for my Magnolia Spring Kit, However I don't know whether it has anything to do with the fact there isn't any planes atm due to that Volcano.

Just Magnolia - Mina's Sketch!

3 Page Golf Birthday Card!

Good (Extremely Early) Morning!

Well I did say I would be back with another post, I was planning on saving this for during the day tomorrow but I want to get some challenges done tomorrow so I will probably have something else to upload! lol

Anyways I got asked to make a card for someone's friend when I was down the pub a couple of weeks ago and judging by what he wanted I had to give it some thinking.
He wanted:
* A 3 Page Card for a Male Golfer who is 60 this year and to say 70 on the front page, 65 on the middle and 6 at the end.

To go with this he wanted an Image of a Golfer in a Wheelchair, With A Zimmer-Frame and then stood up.

This fits into the following Challenge :
CUTE CARD THURSDAY - Touchy Feely!
(I have embossed full inside pages and the other pages are raised on 3D Foam Squares)

I left a blank part on the back so he could write a message.
I think you will agree this isn't my usual style of card but it was fun to make!

Do you think I managed to fit the bill???
He has also paid me BEFORE seeing the card because he thought 2 cards I'd made for him previously were good and seeing it was a 3 -Pager he DOUBLED my usual amount!!

Workdesk Wednesday...

Good Evening!

I've only just come accross this blog thanks to the lovely Rach who discovered where this began over at Joey's Blog. I think it's a rather good idea and if your nosy like me you can't resist a good snoop of someone else's crafty space! hehe

If you have seen mine before you may be noticing something is missing .....
The PC Screen!

Seeing it decided to die on me I now have a Laptop, I tell you it's so weird having this much space on my table now!

The card shown is a 3 Page Golf Card I made for an order and is open on the middle page as the 3D Gloss is drying ... I shall be uploading a post for it soon :)

Birthday Easel Card!

Good Morning!

Wow I can't believe how quickly my Tilda's went that I was selling yesterday went, a few more pennies to go towards new stamps me thinks! lol

However there are a few various stamps left over so please check them out.

Last night to stop me from spending my pennies I decided to get an early birthday card done in the form of an Easel Card. Of course I used one of my new PB Stamps!

PBSC - Buttons Galore! *UPDATED*

Good Morning!

Well it's saturday again and that can only mean one thing ... it's time to get those Penny Blacks out.

A great way to start the weekend I think!

What do you think to my new layout? A welcome change I think.

This week at PBSC the theme is Button's Galore.
I haven't used buttons on my work for a while until I made this last weekend for the challenge, I'd forgotten how good they looked on a card lol

I did follow the sketch over at DOUBLE DUTCH however it doesn't qualify as it was meant to be round, woopsy!
