My Favourite Cards of 2014 ... Part 2!

Good Morning!
As promised I am back with the rest of my favourite 2014 cards.

JULY
This year I was asked to create some cards for Crafty Ribbons using some Wedding ribbons they sent me. I think they worked really well with some more LOTV Toppers which I blended around the edges with ink.

AUGUST
I tried not to include any Christmas cards in this collection, but I could resist these cute little penguins!

SEPTEMBER
I have had this Sugar Nellie stamp for ears and when looking through my old stamps I couldn't resist inking her up once more.

OCTOBER
This year I have also made a few C&S cards, I love how elegant they can look and on this one I have used the third generation stamping technique. They are also super quick to make!

NOVEMBER
Another Stamping Bella card from the latest release, adding some Spring colour in the winter months!

DECEMBER
Finally I just had to end on this card which I made for my Ribbon Girl GDT Spot. I decided to make something super cute & girly!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year for tomorrow!

My Favourite Cards of 2014 ... Part 1!

Good Morning!
Today's post is just like the one I did last week for my favourite Christmas cards, except this time I have picked my favourite's from each month. I hope you like them too!

JANUARY
I don't usually make Baby cards, mainly because I don't really have anyone to send them to lol But when this cutie by LOTV was released I couldn't resist!

FEBRUARY
This year has seen me use pre-coloured Toppers quite a lot seeing as they are so quick and easy. This is one of my favourite's as it goes with the colour scheme so well.

MARCH
When I first got this stamp I was rather nervous about colouring it, but in the end I was so pleased with the results and paired it with some bright spring colours!

APRIL
Another LOTV card, can you tell they've been my favourite brand this year? lol

MAY
This year has also seen me creating a lot of cards using Stamping Bella stamps. This is one of my favourite's along with one of my favourite colour schemes.

JUNE
Finally I couldn't show my favourite cards without including a male themed one, along with a Penny Black stamp.

Thanks for stopping by, I'l be back with the rest tomorrow!
HAPPY CRAFTING!

My Favourite 5 Christmas Cards!

Good Morning!
It's Christmas Eve which means it's time for one of my blogging traditions!

Each year my fellow blogger DEBBY hosts a Candy Giveaway for those who like to share their Favourite 5 Christmas Cards which they've made throughout the year. Each year I like to play along and today I have my selection!

First up is a card I made for my challenge blog, Creative Inspirations.
I have used this super cute Digi by Mel Jens Designs which I fell in love with as soon as I saw it. I decided to use the same colour palette in the papers that I used in the image, creating a rather non traditional Christmas card. I like the card so much that I couldn't bear to part with it this year!

Next up is a card using a sweet LOTV image. Most of you may know that I am a super fan of LOTV character stamps, but this sweet design using Robins caught my eye. I have also used some lovely Christmas papers by one of my favourite brands Maja Design.

This next card is rather different to my usual style, it's very Clean & Simple. I bought this PB stamp earlier in the year and to me it's one of those designs that doesn't need anything else with it, expect for a few sparkly embellies for a finishing touch! Not only does the card have a Classy look but it was super quick to make which when you need to make a batch, is just what you want!

This year I haven't made as many cards using the Tim Holtz inky style as I have done previously, which is a personal shame. However I did manage to make this one which certainly catches your eye!

Finally is a card using one of my all time favourite colour schemes for Christmas cards, white on white! Even though they are a pain to photograph, they do look lovely. I have used an older Magnolia stamp on this card, when it comes to Magnolia I have to admit that the older designs are favourites!

Well I hope you have enjoyed having a look at my top picks, why not share your own?

Thanks for stopping by,
HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!

PTW - Pick A Fave!

Good Morning!
Today we have our last challenge of the year over at PAPERTAKE WEEKLY which is Pick A Fave! All you need to do is pick your favourite challenge that we have have hosted this year. I decided to go for Anything Goes + Option of Recycling. This isn't something I'd usually go for but in a second you'll understand why.

I decided to recycle a card that I made a few weeks ago and turn it into a Calendar!
I think this is a great idea if you want to make some calendars quickly with previous favourite cards that you have made. I simply stuck it onto a folder brown paper bag, added some ribbon, a calendar tab and a few more embellies.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Sugar Nellie Design Team!

Good Morning!
Well you can pretty much guess what today's post is about judging from the title. Last week I was kindly asked to be part of the Sugar Nellie Design Team, of course I said yes straight away! I will be sharing creations made using their products every Sunday both here and over on their blog.

For my first card I have used one of their new pre - coloured Toppers. I will admit to you now that this wasn't my original plan, I had hoped to colour something but due to lack of time I had to use a topper, however that isn't a bad thing because as you can see they are super cute!

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
CUTE CARD THURSDAY - SPARKLES

INGREDIENTS -
The Hobby House Sugar Nellie Toppers 'Jolly Christmas'
First Edition Paper
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Paper Doily, Pop Out Sentiment & Cheesecloth
