A Silver Wedding Anniversary!

   Good Morning!

Today I have something a little different to share with you all. I was asked to make a Silver Wedding Anniversary card for one of my Mum's friends and I must admit at first I was a little bit stumped. In the end I opted to use text as the main focal point and add a variety of embellishments around it. I'm not too sure if I've used the right font if I'm honest but I think it's okay? 

It's slightly wider than my usual size of card due to the die - cuts (kindly sent to me by a fellow crafter a few years ago) so it wasn't the easiest to get the best angle when taking a photograph lol

PBSC July Challenge!

I'm back with another 3x3 Clean and Simple card for you all today, they're such a contrast to my usual style but I do enjoy making them. Today we have a new challenge starting over at PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE of 'Anything Goes or Monochrome!' Well as you can see I followed the Monochrome then just added a little sparkle with some Doodlebug Sequins, well it'd be rude not to have some sparkle on a Christmas card!

LOTV Cupcake Party Release!

     Good Evening!

Recently LOTV have released a brand new collection with a cupcake theme and today I finally managed to find time to make a card using one of them. All of the designs are adorable! Today's card is using the 'Bunny' design and I teamed it with some LOTV papers that were released years ago.
You can't tell from the photograph but I have added some stickles to the stars for some extra sparkle!

PBSC June Challenge Midway Reminder Post

     Good Afternoon!
It feels so good to finally have something to share with you all today, it's been a while!
As you may know back in March I found out that I was having to leave the property we were renting. Well it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Me and my partner have now been in our first home that we actually own ourselves for three weeks and it feels great knowing that I have somewhere I can officially call my own. Of course I'm still organising the house and I'm not overly happy with how the craft room is, so that will need tweaking. However, I have a space to craft and that's the important thing!

Back to the main focus of today's post and I've just managed to join in with the midway reminder post for this month's challenge over at PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE of 'Anything Goes or Fussy and Fancy!' It's definitely one of my simpler cards but I really wanted to make sure that I had something to share seeing as it's been so long. I also had a really strong urge to make a Christmas card for some reason (and so it begins! lol) The card is on a 3x3 base so is rather dinky!

Creative Inspirations Challenge & LOTV Sneak Peek!

  Good Morning!

Back on Wednesday we started a new challenge over at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS and just like last time this challenge will be spread over the next 2 months. I'm a little late with my card but I wanted to make sure that I had something to share with you all.
The new challenge is called 'The Season of Spring' and we all know that this means it's time to start mowing the lawn again! 

This card is also using one of the brand new designs released by LOTV in the coming weeks, just in time for Father's Day! There will be 5 new Vintage Boys available as both Simply Prints (which is what I've used today) and Digi Stamps. There are also some new sentiments being released too!

I'd just like to quickly say thank you for the kind comments on my previous card and the good luck wishes for moving. It's starting to look more and more like it will be the end of this month so this will probably be the last card that I have to share with you all until June now. It's going to be a mammoth task packing up my craft room! Don't worry though, I'l share some pics of the new craft room as soon as it's all set up and ready to go!

PBSC May Challenge!

    Good Morning!
I should probably start today's post by explaining why I haven't had anything to share for a rather long time ...
I found out at the start of March that the house I'm currently rent was being taken back by the Landord, resulting in me having to find somewhere else to live. I've lived here for 8 years so as you can imagine panic set in! Instead of renting again myself and my partner have spent the last 6 weeks trying to obtain a Mortgage on a new build so that we could own our first home together. The stress that this has caused has been unbelievable and my crafty mojo soon disappeared. However, on Thursday morning we finally found out that we'd been approved although I don't want to say too much and jinx things, but it seems that there is now light at the end of the tunnel ... and hopefully my crafty mojo will make a full return soon too!

Back to the main focus of today's post and it's time for a new challenge over at PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE of 'Anything Goes or Clean and Simple!' 
I've gone with the Clean and Simple theme as I haven't had the time to sit down and make one of my usual style of cards, but it was nice to get back crafting for a little while at least.
