A New Year Launch! - Lili of the Valley Design Team

 Good Afternoon!
Yesterday LOTV kick started the new year by launching a brand new release! Today I am sharing a card with a matching gift tag using two designs form one of the sets called 'Love Gnomes'. I loved their Christmassy Gnomes so couldn't wait to get these little chaps inked up!

Along with the Gnomes you can also treat yourself to 'Bear Hug Tags' and some cute 'Sweet Bears' (I will be sharing another card later in the week using one of those designs). There's also some more sentiment sets being released so you really are being spoilt!

My Favourite 5 Cards of 2022!

 Good Morning!
Following on from my previous post I'm now sharing my 5 favourite non-christmassy cards of 2022!
It's always hard to pick favourites but eventually I managed to narrow some down. I'l tell you something if you ever start to feel like you're losing your crafty mojo then a quick look through your previous creations is a great way to bring that inspiration back.

First up is a card using an Easter image by LOTV but I think it's versatile enough to be used for other occasions such as Spring Birthdays etc. I just love the barrow of Daffodils!

Following on with the animal theme here's a card using one of my very first Penny Black stamps, how could anyone not find this little chap cute?!

Midway through the year we were celebrating LOTV's 18th Birthday with an updated version of their iconic wedding couple stamp. I created a card using a yellow scheme and I must admit I'l find it rather hard to part with this card! lol

Next up is a Clean & Simple card using a digi from retired company Mel Jens Designs, I wanted to keep all the focus on the image.

Heading into Autumn LOTV released some beautiful seasonal digi's, anything combining cute animals and pumpkins is an instant winner for me.

Okay so I know this is technically card number 6 but I had to include this in my favourites. The stamp is by Stamping Bella and kept sentiment free makes it versatile enough to be sent any time of year, not just at Autumn/Halloween.

My Favourite 5 Christmas Cards of 2022!

 Good Evening!
I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking towards the New Year! Unfortunately mine hasn't gone to plan this past week as I caught the dreaded lurgy the week leading up to Christmas and ended up with a chest infection from Boxing Day onwards ...
Today's post was supposed to have been wrote and shared days ago but I just didn't feel well enough until now to get it sorted. Here's hoping now that I've got some antibiotics in my system though that I'm on the mend!

First up is a dinky 3x3 Christmas card using one of the designs released this year by LOTV. If any of you watch Create & Craft TV you might've spotted this card along with one of my others on there too!

Another image by LOTV, this time released a few years ago using one of my favourite colour schemes for Christmas, Gold!

Halfway through the year I was transferring all of my Digi's from my old laptop to my current one and this is one of the designs I came across. Unfortunately the company are no longer running, I loved their designs!

Next up is another card using a digi from the same retired company, Mel Jens Designs.

Last up is one of my recent Christmas cards using a classic Penny Black sentiment stamp as the focal point, this time using a darker gold scheme.

December Challenge - Penny Black Saturday!

           Good Morning!

Today we have a new challenge over at PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE. 
This month's challenge is 'Anything Goes or Christmas!'
The perfect theme for any of you who still have some Christmas cards left to make, or even start! lol This month I have used a sentiment from one of the T-Sets released a few years ago as my main image and paired it with some Maja Design Papers that I treated myself to a few weeks ago.
