J&C Creations - Happy Birthday with the 12 New D.I Inks!

Good Morning!
Yesterday I shared this post on the J&C CREATIONS BLOG where we are using the 12 New Distress Inks this week. This is the first time I have made an A5 Card in absolutely ages! lol I shared a quick birthday card that you can make using Distress Inks on the main image! Simply select a stamp that you would like to use, I find the wooden Penny Black Stamps work great for this and choose 3 different D.I Inks. Simply press the 3 pads over the stamp starting with the lightest shade first, don't worry about going over the top of each colour or the pads getting contaminated as the great thing about D.I Inks is that the colour will bleed to the sides of the pad keeping them clean :) For this I chose 3 shades that worked well together in a purple and green scheme. I kept the sentiment simple by using just one Distress Ink but you could use all 3 like I did on the image if you wish!

To create the card simply follow the layout of my card using your chosen design papers and card stock. Stamp you image and sentiment onto white card stock and heat dry. Once you have glued down all your layers and added some cheesecloth and ribbon mount your image and sentiment onto coloured card stock and attach to the card with 3D Foam Pads. Embellish the card with Flowers, Dew Drops & Glitter. I use Ranger Glossy Accents to glue these down with but PVA Glue for sticking paper and card.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:
WILD ORCHID CRAFTS - ANYTHING GOES
BUNNY ZOES CRAFTS - CELEBRATION
SIMON SAYS STAMP - NEW SOMETHING
