A Floral Hunkydory Product Review!

Hello!

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by the craft company HUNKYDORY and they asked me if I'd be interested in reviewing some of their products. Well of course I couldn't say no! I selected 3 Stamp sets and some of their Stamping Card. Today's card is using the stamp set 'Anemone Bouquet'.

I found the stamping card really smooth to work with, I used Memento Ink and Copics to colour.

My Favourite 5 Christmas Cards from 2018!

Good Morning!
It's become a tradition for me to do this each year so I do hope you all still enjoy looking at them. Here are my 5 favourite Christmas cards from 2018!

First up is a cute little pooch carol singing in a brown, white & green colour scheme.
The stamp is from a set called 'Carol Singing' by Lili of the Valley.

Another card using some more traditional colours is next however this time the main image is a digi by Mo's Digital Pencil.

This next card was actually made by recycling the image from a shop bought card that I received last year. I just couldn't bring myself to throw it away without saving the image first lol don't worry though, this card was sent to a family member, not sold on :)

Along with colouring stamped images and digi's I also like to create cards in a Clean & Simple style and Penny Black have some great designs which are perfect for creating something a bit more inky!

Last up is a card using a LOTV Art Sheet image that isn't actually meant for Christmas. It's also of a Unicorn which is a current craze I haven't really gotten into ... however this card actually ended up being one of my favourites this year! Strange eh!

Well that's it! I hope you have enjoyed looking at my favourite Christmas cards from this year, I'l be doing the same with non-Christmas cards on New Years Eve.
All that's left for me to say is that I wish you all A HAPPY CHRISTMAS and I hope you get spoilt rotten!

A Sunny Pair

Good Morning!

Today's card couldn't be any more opposite to the season we're in right now! It's also a little different to my usual style so I do hope you all like it. 

Being a keen gardener I want to make sure that I use my floral stamps more often instead of them just sitting in a box, this is the first result! However I didn't realise until afterwards that I have actually sold this stamp and I'd used my last stamped image of it :(

A Snowy Scene

Good Morning!

I'm back with a more seasonal card for you today, however this card is left sentiment free so that it doesn't just have to be used for Christmas, it could also be used as a Wintry birthday or Thank You card also. The card was a little tricky to photograph due to light and the main colour being white but hopefully it's not too bad!

The image is from a piece of design paper by Pion that I bought a couple of years back. I sparkled it up a little by highlighting the snow with some stickles, trust me it's a lot more sparkly in real life!

Another Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek!

Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek!

Good Morning!

I have a sneak peek to share with you all today from Lili of the Valley! 

On the 1st of January they are launching a lovely set of stamps featuring a brand new Fairy called 'Lily' as it will be 15 years since the shop started next year! 

There will also be some lovely new circular sentiments which work with her perfectly along with other designs. There will also be 2 larger sentiment stamps released and some bunting stamps in various designs which includes numbers and letters to fit to personalise!

Today's card is using one of the Fairy stamps and I have kept all the focus on her without adding any sentiment, making the card versatile enough to be used for any occasion whether it's Christmas, Birthday, Thank You or simply to say hello!

Silent Night Angel

Good Morning!

I finally had the chance to ink up one of my new stamps yesterday morning, trying to find the time to sit and colour the past fortnight has been a little sparce! 

This super sweet stamp is from Lili of the Valley, along with my DT Goodies that I received over the recent weeks I couldn't help purchasing some of the stamp sets, this stamp is from one of them! After colouring I added some Stickles glitter to 4 of the stars in the image but the camera didn't pick it up too well unfortunately.

A Unicorn Christmas with Lili of the Valley

Good Morning!

I have a Christmas card with a difference for you all today, I have used a brand new Art Sheet image by Lili of the Valley that isn't actually a dedicated Christmas sheet. However seeing as there seems to be a trend with Unicorns as Christmas decorations this year I thought ... well why not!

The image is from the Art Sheet 'Enchanted Unicorns' and the papers are also new from Lili of the Valley.

Next week they are launching an assortment of stamps, art sheets and papers with a general theme and trust me they are simply gorgeous! In this launch there are 6 Paper Pads, x5 A5 Rubber Stamp Sheets, 12-14 A6 Rubber Stamp Sheets and 6 Art Sheets!

Today's card is using an image from the Art Sheet 'Pretty Girls' which will also be released on one of the A5 Rubber Stamp Sheets. The papers are also new and from the set 'Watercolour Dots' which matched the colours in the image perfectly.

Birthday Birdies

Good Morning!

I have a light breather for you all today with a card that isn't Christmas themed. I have to admit though it was a pain to photograph due to the fact it's pale yellow and white and the light levels were rather bright! You can barely see the embellishments in the bottom left corner or tell that the white layer beneath the image is actually embossed, but at least now you know they're there! lol

The image is one by Lili of the Valley that was part of their 'Simply Print' range but is now available on one of the Art Sheets!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes + Optional Spooky Colour Combo!

Good Morning!

Due to it being my birthday the same day that the October Challenge went live for PBSC I completely forgot to make a card :( However I have made a card for the mid-way reminder post that is up on the blog today, hopefully I've redeemed myself!

 This month the challenge is 'Anything Goes + Optional Spooky Colour Combo!'

I decided to use the colours Orange and Green and made an Autumnal Birthday Card, instead of blending the ink once stamped to give it a smoother finish I decided to leave the stamped image with it's imperfections to create an effect that mirrors the fading of Autumn leaves. I hope you all like it.
