A Birthday Stroll

Good Morning!

I've taken a little break from the latest LOTV release today and used one of the older Digi's for today's card. It's my Dad's Birthday on Monday so I thought this vintage boy image of him taking a stroll with his pooch (my parents have a miniature wire-haired Dachshund) would be perfect for his card. 

I tried to colour the pooch with a wire-like style for the fur but I'm not entirely convinced if it actually worked ... or just looks a bit messy! lol

LOTV Sneak Peek!

Good Afternoon!

It's been a little while since I've had the chance to craft, what with being ill for 2 weeks at the start of the month and working most of the time I haven't had the chance to craft.

I made this card this morning though before I head to work as we have another launch from LOTV happening on Tuesday and I really wanted to ink up one of the new images!

This design is called 'Pretty Posy' and as you can see it is perfect for Mother's Day along with many other occasions!

February's Creative Inspirations Challenge!

It's the first Wednesday of the month which can mean only one thing, it's time for a new challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS and this month's theme is 'Anything Goes!'

I only tend to use the colour Gold when I'm making Christmas Cards, which is a shame as it's a colour that I really like to craft with! Thinking of You

Good Morning!

I've something a little different to share with you all today, I had to make a 'Thinking of You' card last week so decided to keep it rather simple. 

I had a feather stamp set hidden away in my stash that I thought would be perfect for someone that's recently had a personal loss. 

I created a background pattern using 3 different shades of grey and layering the stamping of the largest feather (not entirely sure if the photograph picks this up) then finished it off by repeating the stamp in the centre using a black ink.

PBSC February Challenge - Anything Goes or Love is in the Air!

Good Morning!

 It's time for a new challenge over at PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE and the theme is 'Anything Goes or Love is in the Air!'

I've loosely played along with the optional theme this month by using a Rose stamp as my focal point. Roses are quite often given on Valentines Day so this card has a romantic feel but at the same time it doesn't have to be used as a Valentine's card ... which is why I've kept it sentiment free.
