J&C Creations - Dreaming with a Tag!

Good Morning!
I do hope you are enjoying the creations that have been shared with you so far this week for our theme for Time for Tea over at the J&C CREATIONS BLOG! Today I have a Tag to share with you that has been inspired by the colour of Tea. So lots of different shades of browns!
I have also used Distress Paints for the background on my tag and you can see the gorgeous marble effect they give which is completely different to the effect that the inks give!

To begin with you will need a #8 Manilla Tag by Ranger and some Distress Paints. Swipe the paints across the tag and spray liberally with water, tilt the tag in various directions for the pattern to spread and enhance the marbled design. Heat dry and ink the edges with Distress Ink.

Stamp a Floral Stamp of your choice in the centre of the tag in a darker colour and attach some mesh across the bottom half of the tag using a Metal Fastener / Stapler. Complete the tag by adding embellishments.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

INGREDIENTS -
Tim Holtz 'Dried Flowers' Stamp & Muse Token
Tim Holtz Ideo-ology Film-Strip Ribbon, Wire Pin & Jump Ring
Ivory Mesh, Twine, Metal Charms, Flowers, Dew Drops & Glitter
Ranger Glossy Accents & Liquid Pearls - Hot Chocolate

INKS USED -
Distress Paint - Antique Linen & Vintage Photo
Distress Ink - Vintage Photo & Walnut Stain

Thanks for popping by,
HAPPY CRAFTING!

Your tag is gorgeous! I love your background ... the sepia brown tones make for the perfect background for how you've finished out your tag. Love the textures and the stamping of the flower stem in the background. Your dimensional flowers are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your tag with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
